How it started
I am a forever weight watchers member. What I mean by this is that I started WW when I was about 8 years old. I was probably the skinniest kid in my class but never the less I had to eat WW food. At that time it meant lots of liver. UGH!!! WW you have come so far! My mom is a lifetime member that is why I started at 8. I was always thin so I considered myself lucky. I had an appetite of a starving bear and ate like one too. My best friend always had the best food and dinner was ready when we came home from school so I ate over there every night and then went home and ate my liver. I had to eat the food my mom made or I would not be able to eat the good stuff. It wasn't until I had my first child that I got heavy. I gained 75 pounds with that one. So for the first time in my life I would actually have to journal and watch what I ate. WW was doing Selections at this time and it was pretty easy to follow. After about a year I was almost to my goal and lost my momentum. For the next 7 years I gained and went back to WW gained and went back to WW and so on....After 7 years I got pregnant with my second child. I think WW was just introducing the points at this time. I hated the points. I wanted my selections backed. I stuck with it off and on for 6 years. I finally decided to get serious and came within 5 pounds of my goal. Guess what happened? Pregnant again. My third baby is 9 months old and I am ready to get serious and finally make it to my goal. WW is now in Points Plus. I did not like this at first. I was a Points Professional. I knew the points of everything off the top of my head. I am in my 5th week and can now say I love the points plus program. This is my journey to finally becoming a WW Lifetime Member! Yeah!
